Athenian Owl Coin - original linocut print

£15.00

This little print is on gorgeously thick acid free paper and printed with archival oil-based ink. One of my favourite artefacts, ever! It is based on the ancient glaukes (owl in Greek) coins from ancient Greece and the flip side would have had the head of Athena on it. Athena was said to be able to transform into a little owl in order to ‘see in the dark’ which is a poetic way of saying she had wisdom.

Approximately 15 X 15 CM

350gsm acid free paper and printed with archival oil-based inks

Signed on front
